UK's first climate change teacher
Mrs Pavey is one of the UK's first climate change teachers.
St Catherine's own Mrs Pavey is the first teacher in Sussex to be accredited The United Nations' new role of a climate change teacher. As head of geography, Mrs Pavey is one of the first teachers in the UK to have completed the course and can now teach pupils topics covering climate change science, gender and environment, and children and climate change.
The UN Climate Change Teacher Academy is being delivered by Harwood Education, in partnership with the One United Nations Climate Change Learning Partnership and sponsored by YPO.
